When Didi Hamann spotted some incredibly talented youngsters from Bali during his trip to the SCC Soccer 7s earlier this year, we knew we wanted to give them a platform on which to shine.
A few months later, and with fantastic support from @creativelightingasia, Project Lighting Design, @muirsdeli, @silverfox.studios, SCF Global, Magambo, The Clubhouse and Hero’s, the @bsfasia Bali team were heading back to Singapore to participate in the JSSL 7s tournament alongside pro youth academies like Tottenham Hotspur, Valencia, JDT and Bangkok United! And in a fresh new kit from @westonsingapore to boot!
The boys topped their group with 5 wins, 1 draw and only 1 goal conceded. Then it was on to the Cup quarter finals (2–0 win), semi finals (2–0 win) and a finals meeting with fellow Indonesian side Asian Soccer School.
BSF Bali would suffer defeat in the final but there were no losers among the group of 10 young players. They left with Cup silver medals round their necks and having shown their talent on one of the biggest stages in Asian youth football.
